Number of players: 4 or more Objective: To become the roaring lion What you need: A stuffed toy animal How to do it: Choose a person to be the "lion." The lion sits with his/her back to the other players, who sit at least ten feet away. Place the stuffed toy behind the lion to be his/her "cub." The child must protect it from the other players, who take turns sneaking up and trying to snatch it. If the lion hears another player, he/she can turn around and roar at them. Players who are roared at are out, and sit on the sidelines. If a player captures the cub, he/she becomes the lion and the game begins again. Advantages: Can be played indoors in a large room, or outdoors
